Latin name: Ocimum Basilicum Origin: Madagascar Botanical family: Labiatae Main constituents: Methyl Chavicol, Methyl Eugenol, 1.8 Cineol, Beta Trans Ocimene and Bergamotene. Uses: Antispasmodic powerful, reinvigorating, stimulating, tonic of the nervous system, and digestive tonic. Recommendations: Stress, tiredness, depression, sleeplessness, intellectual exhaustion, cramps, dizzinesses, flatulence, nausea, aérophagia, motion sicknesses, digestive pains, relaxing muscular, menstrual problems.
